About the Detroit Metro

Don’t try to make sense of this Detroit subway map. It’s just for fun.

Detroit, Michigan doesn't have a subway system, but if it did it might look like this. With a population over 4.3MM, Detroit-Warren-Dearborn is the 14th largest metro in the U.S. and the center of the country’s automobile industry.

Popular stops on this Detroit "subway" system include sites such as The Henry Ford, Detroit Zoo, Michigan Science Center, Detroit Institute of Arts and Belle Isle Park.

Flying into Detroit for the Auto Show? Take Red line from Detroit Metro Airport to Midtown and transfer to the Orange line for TCF Center (formerly Cobo Center). From there you can hop on the Yellow line to GM Renaissance Center, or the Green line to Ford Dearborn.

While you’re in downtown Detroit why not take in a game at Ford Field, Comerica Park or Little Caesars Arena?

Meet up with friends for drinks in Corktown or dinner in Mexicantown. If you’re in town for a few days, be sure to do some shopping at the Eastern Market or head north to enjoy the Cranbrook Art Museum.

There’s so much to do in Detroit! This dreamy Detroit rail network also provides quick access to:

Detroit Area Shopping

Detroit Area Colleges

Detroit Neighborhoods & Suburbs

And many more!
